Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of our pupils, preparing them as fully as possible for their next phase of education. Reading, oracy and language development are at the forefront of our life in school.

Our curriculum has been developed using an enquiry-based approach. We inspire pupils to have a deep enjoyment of learning through our rich and carefully sequenced curriculum provision. Teachers plan learning which equips our pupils with essential skills and knowledge, our emphasis on reading and language development enables all children to access our broad and rich curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to maximise pupils’ curiosity about the world around them. We place an emphasis on the importance of first-hand experiences to stimulate learning, and are lucky enough to have two school minibuses which we use to visit places linked with our themes or topics.
